This incredible primer is imported from down under, yes, Australia. It offers a fine tooth, quick drying acrylic primer which bonds aggressively to practically any clean surface - all types of papers (300 gsm or heavier is recommended) canvas, matboard, illustration board, plastic, glass, wood, ceramic, metal, we even tested it on an encaustic painting with fantastic results! All colours are lightfast, permanent and non-toxic. Pastel Primer can be applied with brushes, sponges, rollers, etc, straight from the jar. We offer 16 colors as well as a clear primer. All colours can be intermixed to create new shades. White or clear can be tinted with acrylics such as Golden's Airbrush color or Fluid colors, liquid acrylic inks or even gouache for new color combinations. The Clear pastel primer allows the natural surface or underlying colors to remain visible while providing extra tooth for more colour overlays. These primers are great for mixed media techniques and experimental art.
